This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to produce the body of the detenue namely, Periyanayagi, W/o.Elavarasan, aged about 26 years before this Court and set her at liberty.
Judicial Magistrate, Parangipettai, on 16.12.2020; thereafter, unfortunately, she consumed poison and died on 22.12.2020, in connection with which, a case in Crime No.893 of 2020 for the offence under Section 174 Cr.P.C. has been registered.
In view of the above, this habeas corpus petition stands closed.
