PRAYER IN W.P.(MD) No.18348 of 2021 : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the third respondent in his proceedings in e.f.vz;.M1/5463/2021 dated 28.09.2021 and quash the same as illegal.

ORDER : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.VEERAKATHIRAVAN, Additional Advocate General assisted by Mr.K.S.SELVAGANESAN, Government Pleader for the petitioners and of Mr.M.AJMAL KHAN, Senior Counsel for M/S.AJMAL ASSOCIATES on behalf of the Respondents, the court made the following order:-

By this Review Application, the order dated 08.10.2021 in Writ Petition(MD) No.18348 of 2021 is sought to be reviewed.

2.The learned Additional Advocate General, who appears on behalf of the review applicants, contends that unless an interim order is granted pending consideration of the Review Application, the writ petitioners would be in a position to deal with the properties which were subject matter of the order impugned in the Writ Petition.

3.Upon considering the said submissions, there will be an order of interim injunction restraining the writ petitioners from dealing with, encumbering, alienating or otherwise disposing of the relevant properties until the Review Application is heard and decided. It is needless to state that no embargo has been placed on the institution or continuation of proceedings by the State in respect of the alleged irregularities and illegalities pertaining to the relevant properties.

Let the matter appear on 09.11.2021 at 02.15 p.m.
