The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police in connection with a case in Crime No.16 of 2020 registered for the offence punishable u/s 120-B r/w 420 of IPC, seeks anticipatory bail.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police submitted that the petitioner had already been arrested on 18.03.2021 and remanded to judicial custody and therefore, nothing survives in this petition for further adjudication.
