Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuing a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to return the Sale Deeds in Document No.2770 of 2012 and 2979 of 2012 dated 01.08.2012 and 22.08.2012 respectively on the file of the Office of the Joint Sub-Registrar – II, Kallakurichi to the petitioner within a reasonable period.

The petitioners have filed the above Writ Petitions to issue writs of mandamus directing the respondents to return the Sale Deeds dated 01.08.2012 and 22.08.2012.
2.When the Writ Petitions are taken up for hearing, Mr.P.P.Purushothaman, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the 3rd respondent had already registered both the Sale Deeds and handed over the same to the
respective parties on 23.12.2013. The learned Government Advocate also produced a letter dated 13.08.2020 of the 3rd respondent addressed to the learned Government Advocate.
3.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, the Writ Petitions are dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
