Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to promote the petitioner as Assistant, Senior Inspector, Co-operative Sub-Registrar and Deputy Registrar on par with her immediate junior Mr.V.Neelakandan with all monetary and other attendant benefits and consequently fix and pay the pension of the petitioner in the post of Deputy Registrar with all arrears with effect from the date of her superannuation.

The case of the petitioner is that she was initially appointed as Typist/Steno Typist in the Department of Milk Production & Dairy Development on 16.11.1983 and her services were regularized on 28.05.1985. She was retired from service on 30.09.2016. Thereafter, the petitioner made a representation on 22.09.2017 to promote her as Assistant, Senior Inspector and Cooperative Sub registrar on par with her immediate junior Mr.V.Neelakandan.

From a reading of a counter filed by the 2^nd respondent it is observed that clarification regarding the fixation of seniority is awaited from the Government and her seniority will be fixed on receipt of the clarification.

In view of the above the respondents are directed to pass orders on the representation dated 22.09.2017 within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of the clarifications from Government. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
