The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the third respondent from encashing the bank guarantee given by the petitioner on behalf of the second respondent through Allahabad Bank George Town Branch, Chennai - 1 in BG No.210407/Sical/Coal/98 dated 12.08.1998 for Rupees One Crore, which is extended from time to time and is in force till 12.06.2009 or alternatively direct the second respondent to indemnify against the actions of third respondent in encashing the BG under reference.
