Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the Memorandum of Grounds in Criminal Appeal No.82/2019 on the file of the High Court, the High Court will be pleased to grant an extension of time from six weeks to six months for depositing the balance amount of Rs.3,00,000/- before the trial court to the credit of C.C.No.30 of 2006 as directed by this Honble court in Crl.MP.No.2116 of 2019 in Crl.A.No.82 of 2019 dated 22.03.2019.
Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the Memorandum of Grounds in Crl. Appeal No.82/2019 on the file of the High Court and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.M.BABU MUTHU MEERAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.K.SRINIVAS SPECIAL PUBLIC PROSECUTOR[CBI]on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:-
The above petition has been filed seeking extension of time from six weeks to six months for depositing the balance amount of Rs.3 lakhs before the Trial Court to the credit of Cc.No.30/2006.
2 Heard the submissions of Mr.Babu Muthu Meeran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.Srinivas, learned Special Public Prosecutor [CBI] appearing on behalf of the respondent.
3 Time for payment of the balance amount of Rs.3,00,000/[Rupees Three Lakhs only] to the credit of CC.No.30/2006 before the Trial Court is hereby extended for a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and if the said amount is not paid within the said period, the bail granted to the petitioner/A-3 shall stand cancelled automatically without any reference to this Court.
4 The petition is ordered accordingly.
