Heard the submissions of the learned counsel

appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Elumalai, learned Government Advocate appearing for the contemnors and also perused the proceedings of the Tahsildar, Pallavaram in Na.Ka.No.190/2016/AA dated 13.08.2018.

A perusal of the said proceedings would indicate that the land in question belongs to the Tamil Nadu Wakf Board.

In the light of the stand taken by the said official in his proceedings in in Na.Ka.No.190/2016/AA dated

13.08.2018, this Contempt Petition is closed, with liberty to

the petitioner to work out his remedy in accordance with law, before the competent forum.
