The petitioner, who came forward to file this Writ

Petition as a 'Public Interest Litigation', would submit that the four-lane work is going on in N.H-49 and before that, in Thirupasethi – Padamathur road junction, a bus-stop was located and all the town buses used to stop there and most of the school going children/students, are using the town buses to reach the Educational Institutions and on account of the extension of road, the said bus shelter has been removed and though four-lane work is almost completed, no steps have been taken by the Authorities of the National Highways, to put up a bus-stop or shelter and as a consequence, all the students and other people, who are using the town buses are put to irreparable hardship, for the reason that summer is also approaching. The petitioner in this regard has submitted a representation dated 25.01.2018, to respondents 1 to 3 and in spite of receipt and acknowledgment, no steps have been taken to redress the grievance of the petitioner and other residents of the locality and therefore, the petitioner is constrained to approach this Court by filing this Writ Petition.

Though the petitioner prays for a larger relief, this

Court, in the light of the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner either in this Writ Petition or in his representation, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 25.01.2018, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.

The Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly. No
