On the death of the petitioner's son, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents for conducting enquiry for the purpose of payment of compensation and insurance. The second respondent issued an enquiry notice in SWO/Misc(02)/2013/534 dated 04.10.2016, fixing the date of enquiry on 17.10.2016 at his https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ office. Thereafter, by his letter dated 27.01.2017, the second respondent has also directed the petitioner to produce certain documents. The petitioner submitted the documents on 14.08.2017.

Thereafter, there was no progress in the enquiry. The petitioner has also made a reminder on 18.12.2017. Since the respondents are not acting on the representation of the petitioner, the petitioner is before this Court for an early disposal of the enquiry.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, a direction is issued to the second respondent to complete the enquiry initiated in this regard, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Such an exercise shall be done after summoning to the parties concerned.

With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
