PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus to call for the notification dated 24.07.2018 bearing No.CENTAC/Admin/2018-19 issued by second respondent with regard to vacancy under SC Category and quash the same and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to rationalise the vacancies as per rules applicable under SC Category by considering the daughter of petitioner in the available vacancy.

The petitioner is a candidate, who states that she belongs to Scheduled Caste category under Puducherry origin. It is stated that the total number of seats in the Scheduled Caste Category for admission in Government Medical College is 17. 12 seats were allotted to Puducherry, 3 seats were allotted to Karaikal region and 1 seat was allotted to Mahe https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ and another 1 seat was allotted to Yanam region.
2.The petitioner's grievance is that she will get admission if any one of the candidate who has been wrongly included in the list of Scheduled Caste category is treated as a candidate comes under general category.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner states that one such candidate has been taken from the list of Scheduled Caste category. It is also stated by the petitioner before this Court that the petitioner has got admission in the Medical College, Puducherry by accepting her community status. It is further stated by the petitioner as well as the respondents that nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition.
4.Recording the statement of the learned counsel on both sides, this Writ Petition is closed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are also closed.
