PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of Writ of Declaration, declaring the action of the 3rd Respondent University in commencing Centre for Maritime Studies in Port Blair Centre of Pondicherry University on 1.04.2015 as illegal, arbitrary, contrary to law and contrary to chapter XXI of the ordinances Governing Academic matters of the 3rd Respondent University and consequently direct the 3rd Respondent not to proceed with the centre for Maritime Studies in Port Blair any manner unless and until such establishment is approved by the Executive Council in consultation with the Academic Council of the 3rd Respondent University.
