The petitioner, who is the landlord filed RCOP No.192 of

2005 seeking fixation of fair rent for the demised premises. The

respondents 1 to 5 in the petition, are the legal heirs of the original

tenant N.Kamalam and the 6^th respondent is the daughter-in-law of the said Kamalam. Aggrieved by the order dated 11.11.2013, the petitioner filed appeal in RCA No.66 of 2014, the respondents 1, 4 and 6 filed RCA No.48 of 2014, 5^th respondent filed RCA No. 47 of 2014 and the 2^nd respondent filed RCA No. 20 of 2016. Pending appeals, the 2^nd respondent died and hence I.A. No. 194 of 2017 was filed to implead the

legal heirs in RCA No. 66 of 2014 and the same was allowed. Subsequently, I.A. Nos. 195/2017, 197/2017 and 245/2017 were filed to implead the legal heirs in the other appeals.

According to the petitioner, the Interlocutory

Applications are pending and the same are adjourned from time to time. The appeals are of the year 2014 and that the petitioner is aged about 72 years and is suffering from many ailments. Hence, the revision petition is filed seeking the aforesaid prayer.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that

the petitioner being a senior citizen and the RCOP was filed the year 2005, there is no impediment to direct the court below to dispose of the appeal within a reasonable time.

In so far as the Interlocutory Applications in I.A. Nos. 195/2017, 197/2017 and 245/2017 seeking to implead the legal heirs of

the 2^nd respondent in the appeals filed by the respondents in RCA Nos. 48

of 2014, 47 of 2014 and 20 of 2016, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that he has no objection in allowing the

aforesaid implead applications, pending before the Appellate Court. In view of the said submission, the Principal Sub Court, Coimbatore/ Rent Control Appellate Authority is directed to dispose of the aforesaid Implead Petitions, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a

period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel

for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the Principal Sub Court, Coimbatore/ Rent Control Appellate Authority is directed to dispose of all the appeals, as expeditiously as possible, preferably on or before 30.06.2018.

All the Civil Revision Petitions are disposed of, with the

above directions. No order as to costs.
