Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2^nd respondent to carry out the petitioner's name in the computer data entry for grant of patta with regards to S.F.No.29/1 Measuring 0.26.0 ares and S.F.No.112 measuring 4.55.0 ares of Mandaiyur Village, Kulathur Taluk, Pudukkottai District at the earliest.

The petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction to the 2^nd respondent to carry out the petitioner's name in the computer data entry for grant of patta with regards to S.F.No.29/1 Measuring 0.26.0 ares and S.F.No.112 measuring 4.55.0 ares of Mandaiyur Village, Kulathur Taluk, Pudukkottai District at the earliest.

2.Mr.M.Alagathevan, the learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition itself is taken up for disposal at the time of admission itself.

3.According to the petitioner, he is the owner of the property comprised in S.F.No.29/1 Measuring 0.26.0 ares and S.F.No.112 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ measuring 4.55.0 ares of Mandaiyur Village, Kulathur Taluk, Pudukkottai District being his ancestral property and he has been

in possession and enjoyment of the same for several years. According to the petitioner, he has been issued with patta No.1725 for the above property. However, according to the petitioner, grant of patta was not entered into the computer data and in that account the petitioner has approached the second respondent for making necessary entry in computer data and to grant computer patta. On 17.10.2016, the petitioner has given a representation to the first respondent, which was also forwarded to the second respondent. Inspite of the repeated attempts made to get computer patta there has been no action forth coming from the second respondent. Therefore, the petitioner is constrained to file this Writ Petition.

4.Mr.M.Alagathevan, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that he has no objection to issue a direction as prayed for in the writ petition.

5.In these circumstances, a direction is issued to the second respondent to effect entry into the computer data regarding the patta granted to the petitioner for the subject property and issue computer patta to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. There shall be no order as to costs.
