The petitioner has approached this Court for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents 1 to 3 from registering any documents of conveyance of lands to any other third parties pertaining to lands in S.No.240-1A, 241-2A, 241/1 of E.Muthulingapuram Village, Sattur Taluk and from giving any approvals for approved layouts and any planning permission to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ construct the buildings in S.No.240-1A, 241-2A,241/1 of E.Muthulingapuram Village, Sattur Taluk until the disposal of the appeals pending before the 4^th respondent.

According to the writ petitioner an appeal has been preferred before the fourth respondent for rectification of certain deficiencies in a Patta in respect of the subject property. The said appeal has been preferred in July 2014. According to the petitioner, the appeal has not been disposed of and the same is still pending.

The learned counsel for the respondent would submit that in view of the said appeal is pending for a long time, the same may be disposed of as expeditiously as possible.

Recording the submissions of the learned counsels appearing for the parties, the fourth respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in case, the appeal is still pending on his file, after giving opportunity to all the parties concerned.

With these directions, these writ petitions are disposed of. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
