The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in spite of petitioner's representation dated 28.10.2016 and paying the necessary charges for surveying and sub-dividing the lands mentioned above, the 2nd respondent has not completed the exercise so far.

Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.10.2016, and pass orders on in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties.

In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.10.2016 for surveying and sub-dividing the lands and for issuance of patta and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties. within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
