The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondents to allot the lands to the members of the petitioner sangam with appropriate description, measurement of two cents in the place identified at Akkarai Village Shozhinganallur Taluk, Kancheepuram District or in any alternative place within proximity at the earliest as per the earlier direction of this Court within the specified period.
3.Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents based on instruction submitted that the case of the petitioner will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed by the second respondent within a time fixed by this Court. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, by directing the second respondent to consider the claim of the petitioner and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, also by taking note of the report submitted by the fifth respondent/Tahsildar dated 19.02.2016. Such exercise shall be done by the second respondent within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
