Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Mandamus to forbear the respondents from either opening any TASMAC shop or shift the Shop No.8735 at Plot NO.17-A, Elizabeth Nagar, Madhavaram, Chennai 600 110.

After hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and the respondents, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to ensure that no TASMAC shop is set up in the area in question in contravention of the Tamil Nadu Liquor Retail Vending (Inshops and Bars) Rules, 2003 framed under the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act, 1937 or in contravention of the judgment
