This writ petition has been filed challenging the order dated 31.03.2003 passed by the first respondent.
2 Heard Mrs. Hema Sampath, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner and Ms. T. Girija, learned Government Advocate (Co-operative) appearing for the respondents.
3 The peittioner was working as Assistant in Madurai District Central Co-operative Bank, Madurai and she sought transfer to Tuticorin District Central Cooperative Bank, which was not acceded to by the authorities, challenging which, she has filed the present writ petition.
4 When the writ petition was filed in 2003, the petitioner was 44 years old and now, in the year 2016, she might have attained the age of superannuation.
In view of the above factual position, nothing survives in this writ petition and accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. Costs made easy.
