Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondent 1 to 4 to produce the person and body of the petitioner's minor daughter, Sindhu, female aged about 16 years, D/o.Sivakumar, before this Court and set her at liberty.

Mr.V.M.R.Rajentran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, informs us that a First Information Report has been filed against, one, Mr.Haridoss, in view of the fact that the detenue/Ms.Sindhu is a minor.

We are further informed that the detenue/Ms.Sindhu is, presently, housed in Christ Faith Home (in short, “the Home”).

Accordingly, the Superintendent of the Home, is directed to produce the detenue/Ms.Sindhu before the concerned Child Welfare Committee, at the earliest, though, not later than 22.12.2017.

The Child Welfare Committee will, thereafter, pass appropriate orders in the matter, keeping in mind the best interest of the child, i.e., the detenue/Ms.Sindhu
