The writ petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondents to issue a separate patta in respect of the property to an extent of 0.64.25 ares in S.Nos.489/1 and 489/3 Alavayal Village Group, Ponnamaravathi Taluk, Pudukkottai Taluk, after making sub division in the petitioner's favour, in pursuance of his application dated 15.09.2016.

According to the petitioner, he is said to have purchased a property to an extent of 0.64.25 ares in S.Nos.489/1 and 489/3 Alavayal Village Group, Ponnamaravathi Taluk, Pudukkottai Taluk and now, a joint patta stands in the name of the petitioner and his vendor. Hence, he filed an application before the first respondent on 15.09.2016 for issuance of separate patta and the said application is pending as on date. Hence, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ present writ petition has been filed.

Mr.K.P.Krishnadoss, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents,on instructions submitted that the petitioner's application for issuance of separate patta will be considered by the first respondent, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4.Taking into consideration that the petitioner's application is pending before the first respondent from 15.09.2016, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's application and pass orders within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
