The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation dated 25.01.2016, made by the petitioner to the respondent authority and renew the stage carriage permit in respect of the petitioner's bus bearing registration No.TN-25-C-6327.

Mr.A. Tamilvanan, learned Government Advocate, taking notice for the respondent, submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders in accordance with law.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct
