The District Collector, Chennai and others), inasmuch as it also deals with areas near Adyar River, which have been encroached upon. Rehabilitation has been offered to the inhabitants so that they not rendered homeless.

In view of the aforesaid, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.4714 of 2016 is closed.
