Prayer:- Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Declaration declaring the Notification in G.O.Ms.No.13 Environment and Forest Department (FR-14) dated 28.01.2000 issued by the first respondent as arbitrary illegal, and violative of Article 14 of Constitution of India and ultra vires of Section 9 of Gudalur Jenmam Estate (Abolition and Conversion into Ryotwari) Act 24/69 and ultravires of definition of land at the disposal of Government under Section 2 and Sections 3, 4, 6 and 16 of the Tamil Nadu Forest Act (Act V of 1882) in sofar as the petitioners are concerned.
When the matter was taken up for hearing on 07.12.2016, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners have taken back the bundle and had given change of vakalat on 19.10.2000.
2.Mr.N.Santhanaraman, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the Forest Department submitted that the present writ petition has become infructuous, in view of the order passed by a Division Bench of this Court in S.T.A.Nos.2 to 11 of 2009 dated 28.05.2015 and he has also produced a copy of the order. 3.In the light of the above, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
