The writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Ceritorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the respondent in connection with the impugned order passed by him in Na.Ka.No.04/Ka.aa.a/Thandarampattu/2016, dated 20.03.2016 and quash the same and further direct the respondent to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct the summer culture programme going to be held on 16.04.2016 and to provide adequate police protection.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the relief sought for in this Writ Petition has become infructuous. He has also made an endorsement to that effect in the bundle. It is seen that the writ petition has been filed seeking an order in the nature of a Ceritorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the respondent in connection with the impugned order passed by him in Na.Ka.No.04/Ka.aa.a/Thandarampattu/2016, dated 20.03.2016 and quash the same and further direct the respondent to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct the summer culture programme going to be held on 16.04.2016 and to provide adequate police protection.
2.As the relief sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous, nothing survives for adjudication. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
