ORDER
Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.
2.The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation, dated 20.01.2015 through which she is seeking for family pension.
3.It is stated that the petitioner's husband was working as Forest Guard and due to some medical reasons, he retired from service on 22.09.1987 by way of compulsory retirement. Thus the petitioner is seeking for family pension which according to the petitioner is not paid for a long time. Needless to say that it is for the respondent to consider the claim of the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law as this Court at this stage cannot express any view on the claim made by the petitioner.
4.Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of only with a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.01.2015 and pass appropriate orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
