Petition filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to return the sale deed dated 18.02.2014 bearing Document No.930/2014 presented by the petitioner for registration with regard to the property situated in R.S.No.301/4 in Sathyamangalam Village, Erode District in accordance with law by considering the petitioner's representation dated 21.04.2014.

By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.Since the sale deed dated 18.02.2014 registered in Document No.930/2014 has not been released, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

3.Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is ready and willing to pay the deficit stamp duty.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, would submit that the matter is pending investigation for verification of the vaulation of the building.

5.Considering the above, a direction is issued to the first respondent to complete the process of valuation and verification within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and intimate the petitioner about the requisite amount to be paid. On such payment, as indicated by the first respondent, the document will be released to the petitioner forthwith.

6.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
