Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to conduct the survey for the petitioner's property bearing Survey No.10/3, Anna Street, Lakshmi Nagar Extension, Chinnaporur, Chennai, situated at Porur Village, Ambattur Taluk, Thiruvallur District, of an extent of 40.59 cents, as per Sale Deed in Doc.No.3272 of 1987, registered at SRO, Alandur, on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 03.01.2014.

The petitioner is said to have purchased land in Survey No.10/3, Anna Street, Lakshmi Nagar Extension, Chinnaporur, Chennai, situated at Porur Village, Ambattur Taluk, Thiruvallur District, of an extent of 40.59 cents, as per Sale Deed in Doc.No.3272 of 1987, registered at SRO, Alandur, pursuant to which, he made a representation dated 03.01.2014 to the respondent seeking to conduct a survey, and as the same was not considered till date, the present Writ Petition is filed. Hence, without going into the merits of the case, this Writ Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondent-Tahsildar to pass orders on the said representation, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other parties, if any aggrieved, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order or within
