Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of Habeas Corpus to call for the records relating to the detention of the petitioner's husband Sivakumar @ Siva, son of Karuppaiah, aged 33 years, presently detained in the Special Camp for Srilankan immigrants/refugees identified and located by the Collector of Trichy District at Trichy under the Foreigners Act, 1946 (Central Act 31 of 1946) read with the Notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs No.4/3/56 (1) F-1 dated 19th April 1958 for regulating the continued presence of the foreigner Sivakumar alias Siva, son of Karuppaiah, who is Srilankan National, vide the order dated 13.09.2013 in G.O. No.SR.III/1890-2/2013/Public (SC) Department on the file of the 3rd respondent herein, directing to produce the body or the person of the detenu before this Court
and thereafter set him at liberty from the Special Camp for Srilankan Immigrants/refugees at Trichy by set aside the above order.
