Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the respondent/Police to register an FIR on the basis of the complaint, dated 02.10.2014, and 11.11.2014, vide C.No.5755/COP/Visitors/2014 submitted by the petitioner to the respondent/Police and proceed with the investigation and to file final report.

The petitioner seeks direction upon the respondent/Police to register a case and investigate the matter in accordance with law on the basis of his complaint, dated 02.10.2014.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, representing the respondent/Police submitted that petition enquiry is pending upon the complaint given by the petitioner.

In view of the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with direction to the respondent/Police to complete the enquiry and proceed further in accordance with law by registering a crime, if any cognizable offence is made out, by following the dictum laid down by the Hon'ble Apex Court in re Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others reported in [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)].
