This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 praying to direct the Special Court for Prevention of Corruption Act Cases, Salem to dispose of the case in Spl.C.C.No.57 of 2014 as early as possible.

1. It is averred in the petition that the petitioner has been arrayed as sole accused in Special Calendar Case No.57 of 2014 pending on the file of Special Court for Prevention of Corruption Act Cases, Salem. Further it is stated in the petition that on the side of prosecution, some witnesses have been examined and since the matter is pending for a long time, necessary direction may be given.
