The petitioner seeks to provide police protection to the George Town Court Buildings around the clock and 365 days with the surveillance of CCTV Cameras. An interim direction to provide police protection on 28.08.2014 on the event of Bar Election is also sought for.
2.The interim prayer has worked itself out, as elections have been held. To that extent, the main prayer has worked itself out.
3.As far as the issue of providing appropriate security permanently at the George Town Court Building is concerned, it has been informed that the matter is being dealt with by the concerned Committee on the administrative side.
4.The writ petition, thus, stands disposed of. Consequently, M.P.No.1 of 2014 stands closed.
