Respondents PRAYER: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issue of a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner as Junior Assistant on compassionate ground. For petitioner : Mr.M.R.T.Sellapandian For respondents : Ms.P.Rajalakshmi, Govt.Advocate ORDER The petitioner's mother died on 02.01.1999 in harness leaving behind her husband, the petitioner and his sisters. The petitioner was aged 13 years at the time of his mother's death. Therefore, his father made a representation to the second respondent for appointment on compassionate ground for the petitioner by his representation dated 20.12.2001. As there was a ban for appointment till 2006, the representation of the petitioner's father was not considered and after attaining majority, the petitioner also filed an application on 20.12.2001 stating that he passed 10th Standard. The authorities raised certain queries on 30.08.2012. The second respondent asked the petitioner to provide further information and the petitioner was asked to appear for an enquiry on 04.09.2012 and the petitioner at that time produced necessary certificates. The second respondent called the petitioner to submit some more documents in October 2012 and that was also complied with. Thereafter, on 02.07.2013, the second respondent by his proceedings om Ma/La/Mp/7489/A1/2002 called for some more particulars and that was also furnished with and till date no order has been passed. In the circumstances, the above writ petition is filed.
