ORDER : The Court Made the following order :-

The petitioner, who was arrested on 22/12/2012 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 341 and 302 IPC in Crime No.387 of 2012 on the file of the respondent Police, seeks bail.

Heard the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the State.

Considering the allegations raised against the petitioner, recording the nature and the extension of his participation and the stage of the investigation in which the same is substantially completed and the period of his detention and also considering the fact that tampering of evidence does not arise, this Court comes to the conclusion that it is a fit case in which the petitioner can be released on bail subject to certain conditions.

In the result, this petition is allowed and it is hereby directed that the petitioner shall be released on bail, subject to the following condition: https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

(i). The petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pattukottai; and

(ii). The petitioner shall report before the respondent-police daily at 10.30 a.m., for a period of three weeks.
