This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction to direct the Judicial Magistrate, Nanguneri, to conclude the trial in S.T.C.No.775 of 2012 within a short span of time.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent.

As per the order of this Court dated 23.07.2013, a report has been called for from the learned Judicial Magistrate, Nanguneri and accordingly the learned Judicial Magistrate, Nanguneri has submitted a report, stating that S.T.C.No.775 of 2012 was taken on file on 25.08.2012 and the first accused/petitioner herein and third accused alone have appeared and summons for appearance of the second accused viz., Saravanan, Son of Nainar is pending and fresh summons to the second accused was issued and the case is posted on 21.11.2013.

Recording the same, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Nanguneri is directed to complete the proceedings in S.T.C.No.775 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ of 2012 within a period of six months from the date of appearance of the second accused.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
