ORDER : The Court Made the following order :-

The petitioner, who was arrested on 14/12/2012 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 120 (b), 302 IPC r/w. 149 and 201 of IPC in Crime No.419 of 2012 on the file of the respondent Police, seeks bail.

Heard the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the State.

Considering the circumstances under which the petitioner is implicated in this case, the relationship between the petitioner and the deceased and considering the special reason that the petitioner's daughter, who now lost her husband and moreover, the petitioner's daughter is in the advanced stage of pregnancy and also considering the period of the detention of the petitioner and the stage of the investigation, this Court comes to the conclusion that it is a fit case in which the petitioner can be released on bail subject to certain conditions.

In the result, this petition is allowed and it is hereby directed that the petitioner shall be released on bail, subject to the following conditions:

(i) The petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/(Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Madurai; and

¶17

(ii) The petitioner shall report before the respondent-police daily at 10.30 a.m., for a period of four weeks.
