ORDER : The Court Made the following order :-

The petitioner, who was arrested on 24/12/2012 for the offences punishable under Sections 364, 109, 201, 120 (b) and 302 IPC in Crime No.109 of 2012 on the file of the respondent Police, seeks bail.

Heard the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the State.

Considering the nature of the offences, the nature of the allegations raised against the petitioner, the stage of the investigation and the period of his custody, this Court comes to the conclusion that it is a fit case in which the petitioner can be released on bail subject to certain conditions.

In the result, this petition is allowed and it is hereby directed that the petitioner shall be released on bail, subject to the following conditions:

(i) The petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/(Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thanjavur; and

¶20

(ii) The petitioner shall report before the respondent-police daily at 10.30 a.m.,for a period of two weeks.
