4.By consent of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

5.The grievance of the petitioner is that he has filed an appeal https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ on 25.10.2010 before the Revenue Divisional Officer/second respondent challenging the order of the Zonal Deputy Tahsildar, Srirangam Taluk,

Trichy District in patta proceedings and the same has not been disposed of so far.

6.The learned Special Government Pleader on instructions states that the appeal is now listed for hearing on 15.07.2011.

7.In such view of the matter, the second respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal dated 25.10.2010 filed by the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.

8.The writ petition is disposed of as above. No costs.
