The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking for the relief of directing the respondent No.3 to extend the service of the petitioner as a Guest Lecturer in Mannar Duraisingam Government Arts College, Sivagangai.

Though the petitioner has come forward with a larger prayer, it is now submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner would be satisfied, if a direction is given to the 3^rd respondent to consider his representation, dated 17.09.2010 in the light of G.O.Ms.No.197, dated 13.07.2010 and in the light of the order of the respondent No.1, dated 22.03.2010 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, by affording an opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order,

3.Heard Mr.Aaiyram K.Selvakumar, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents on the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner. It is submitted that the petitioner's representation would be considered on its merits and as per law.

In view of the limited prayer now made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without going into the merits of the

representation of the petitioner, dated 17.09.2010 constrained to direct the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.09.2010 in the light of G.O.Ms.No.197, Higher Education (A1) Department, dated 13.07.2010 and in the light of the order passed by the first respondent, dated 22.03.2010, and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, by affording opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the order copy of this Court.

6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
