It is the case of the petitioner that presently she is working as Programmer, School of Biotechnology in Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai. She has been serving in the said University from May, 1986. According to her, the post of Programmer is an Academic post, as per the University Grants Commission's letter issued in January, 1985. The programmer post has also been included in the Budget book of Madurai Kamaraj University under the Academic Cadre, as per the sanction of the University Grants Commission. Pursuant to the directions of the Registrar of Madurai Kamaraj University, the petitioner qualified herself in Master of Computer Application and accordingly, she has obtained MCA degree in April 2006.
