JUDGMENT

The petitioners have approached this Court seeking a direction to the 2^nd respondent to consider and pass orders on Exts. P5 to P5(b) representations with notice and hearing to the petitioners within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

The petitioners claim to be the owners in possession of various extent of properties as is evident from Exts.P1 to P3. For the grant of issuance of patta in respect of the property under the possession of the petitioners, they have preferred Exts.P5 to P5(b) requests before the 2^nd respondent, which is stated to be pending consideration before the said authority. The petitioners complain that no action has been taken on the same.

Heard the learned Government Pleader also.

After hearing both sides I am inclined to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the 2^nd respondent to consider and pass orders on Exts.P5 to P5(b) representations at the earliest, at any rate within an outer limit of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment, after affording an opportunity of being
