The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition for issue of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to disburse the pensions arrears, wage revision arrears, gratuity and DA arrears with interest. He has retired from the service of the

respondent Corporation as a sweeper on 31.5.2023.

The case of the petitioner is that he has submitted all

the required applications, documents and pension books. But the petitioner received monthly pension only for November and December 2023. The pension from June 2023 to October 2023, commutation value of pension,

pension arrears, gratuity, wage revision arrears and DA

¶25

arrears have not been paid.

The counsel for the petitioner submits that the

petitioner has received the commuted value of pension and gratuity.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondent to disburse the following, within 3 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. If the amounts are not paid within the above mentioned period, the amounts will carry interest

at the rate of 6% per annum from the actual due date till

¶32

payment.

(i) Pension arrears of June 2023 to October 2023 and January 2024 onwards.

(i) 2019 wage rev ision arrears.

¶35

(ii) DA arrears from January 2021 to 31.5.2023.
