The petitioner is a contractor in Kerala Water
Authority. The petitioner has quoted tender for the
work of "KIIB 2016-2017 SIP WSS to Koyilandy
Municipality Adjacent Panchayaths(Phase 1) Package
Design, Construction of Retaining/Compound wall and
Watchman room at Valloramala (Naduvannur GP-14LL.
Kottur GP 13LL) and Supplying, laying, Testing and
Commissioning of Clear Water Transmission Main". An
agreement has been entered between the 2nd respondent
and the petitioner on 07.03.2020 . It is submitted by
the learned counsel for the petitioner that the above
work was completed on 28.03.2023 which is perfectly
within the time. Accordingly the petitioner submitted
Ext.P3 final bill before the 2nd respondent. On
examining the same, the amount has to be sanctioned by
the 4th respondent.

2.When the matter is taken up today, it
is stated by the counsel for the 4th respondent
that amount due to the petitioner is about to be

disbursed within a short period. On recording the
above submission, I prefer to dispose of this writ
petition with a direction to 4th respondent to
disburse the amount due to the petitioner within a
period of one month.

Accordingly, on the basis of the said direction,
this writ petition is disposed.
