JUDGMENT

The above writ petition is filed with following prayers :

“(a) That this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a writ of mandamus or writ in the nature of mandamus or such other writ or order directing the respondent No.1 to accept land tax from the petitioner.

(b) For cost of the petition and compensation.

The main prayer in this writ petition is to issue direction to the 1^st respondent to accept the land tax from the petitioner. Ext.P2 is the proceedings issued by the Village Officer, Cheleri. In Ext.P2, it is clearly stated that there is no fixed boundary to the property of the petitioner and once the

boundary is fixed, the petitioner can approach the Village Officer. In the light of Ext.P2, I think no further order is necessary. The petitioner is free to approach the Village Officer after fixing the boundary of the property, if necessary, by filing appropriate application for survey.
