The petitioner is employed as a temporary labourer with the 2^nd

respondent. The respondents made a policy decision to appoint employees as permanent staff who worked for more than 30 days during a similar

period as the petitioner. The petitioner applied for his name to be included

¶17

in the draft list.

The first respondent has communicated to the second

¶19

respondent to submit a draft list of casual laborers who worked with the livestock farms for 30 days from 24.08.2006 to 30.11.2022. The petitioner has filed representations before the respondents, but no orders have

passed. Ext.P5 is a representation given by the petitioner to the second respondent.

Heard counsel on either side.

The counsel for the petitioner seeks disposal of Ext.P5 within a time

frame. It is seen that the representation dated 19.03.2024 was made

before the 2^nd respondent; therefore, the 2^nd respondent is directed to take

up Ext.P5 and pass appropriate orders within two months from the date of
