JUDGMENT

Petitioner herein is the claimant in L.A.R.
No.3/2020 and connected cases. Petitioner seeks
expeditious disposal of the said cases. This Court
called for a report from the II Additional District
Court, Palakkad, which states that murder trials
have been prioritised on a daily basis; besides,
NDPS cases involving commercial quantity are also
being tried. 5 to 10 witness are being summoned
every day, in which circumstances, civil cases are
adjourned for want of time. Nevertheless, the
learned District Judge would state that L.A.R.
No.3/2020 and connected matters can be disposed of
within a reasonable time.

2. Having heard the learned counsel for the
petitioner and perused the report, this Court
directs the learned Additional District Judge-II,
Palakkad, to try and dispose of L.A.R. No.3/2020 and

from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
