This Criminal Miscellaneous case is filed to quash the proceedings in SC No. 737 of 2015 on the file of the District and Sessions Court (Atrocities & Sexual Violence against Women and Children), Thiruvananthapuram arising from Crime No. 260 of 2014 of Contonment Police Station, Thiruvananthapuram. When this case came up for consideration on 11.07.2024, this Court directed the Registry to get a report from the trial court about the present stage of the case. The learned Additional District and Sessions Judge submitted a report, which is extracted hereunder :
“With reference to the above, I may report that as per order No.1/2021 dated 07.01.2021 of the Hon'ble Sessions Judge, Thiruvananthapuram, SC No. 737/2015 was transferred to Fast Track Special Court, Thiruvananthapuram for trial and
