“The field inspection was conducted on 15.06.2023. As per the field inspection report-The field inspection team observed that a quarry is in operation within 500 Metres from the periphery of the lease area of proposed site. It is owned by Kalanchira Granites with an extent of 2.4923 Hectares as per Certificate issued by Village Officer, Koppam. The extent of lease area of proposed quarrying site of Marath Enterprises is 1.5928 Hectares. The SEAC team directed the proponent to submit a recent certificate regarding Cluster situation issued by the District Geologist to SEIAA for appraisal of their proposal. The inspection team also received a copy of the Certificate issued by District Geologist, Palakkad from SEIAA via e-mail submitted by the Project Proponent. As per Certificate issued by District Geologist one Quarry is situated within 500 meter radius of the quarrying lease applied area of M/s Marath Enterprises & Crushers Pvt Ltd, Koppam Village, Amayur P.O, Palakkad679310 situating in Re-Survey No.197/2198/2,8,9,10,205/2Pt Koppam Village, Palakkad District, Kerala for an extent of 1.5298 Hectares of land. The other working quarry is owned by M/s Kalanchira Granites Pvt Limited, Amayur P.O in Sy. No 204,206/3 Koppam Village to an extent of 2.4923 Hectares under quarrying lease. As per the Certificate issued by District Geologist the total area is 4.0221 Hectares and hence there is no cluster situation at present.”
