JUDGMENT

The petitioner herein is the Manager of the Keezhal U.P School, Vadakara. He contends that by Exhibit P1 order, the Government has taken note of the irregularities and manipulations in the seniority, and directions were issued to the Director to conduct a detailed enquiry into various matters mentioned therein. The grievance of the petitioner is that no action has been taken to date. It is in the afore circumstances that the petitioner is before this Court seeking directions to the 2nd respondent to put in motion the Vigilance Enquiry in pursuance to Exhibit P1 and also for a direction to the 2nd respondent to take a decision on Exhibit P2.

The learned Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted

that in terms of the directions in Exhibit P1, notice has been issued to the concerned persons and proceedings have commenced.

In that view of the matter, necessary directions can be issued to the 2nd respondent to finalize the proceedings pursuant to Ext.P2 within a time frame.

Resultantly, this writ petition is disposed of by issuing the following directions:

a) The 2nd respondent shall take a decision on Ext.P2 after affording an opportunity of being heard to the petitioner and all other affected parties in terms of directions issued in Ext.P1.

b) The proceedings as directed above shall be finalized within three months from the date of production of a copy of this judgment.

¶24

c) It would be open to the petitioner to produce a copy of the writ petition along with the judgment before the concerned respondent for further action.

This writ petition is disposed of.
