Admit. Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

The prayer in the writ petition is for a direction to the 3^rd respondent to place the application for assignment of land submitted by the petitioner before the Taluk Level Assignment Committee and to take a decision on the same expeditiously.

Ext.P2 application is seen to have been filed in 2012 and the same is stated to have been not disposed of even now.

In view of the limited prayer made, this writ petition is disposed of directing the 3^rd respondent to place the application submitted by the petitioner at the next meeting of the Taluk Level Assignment Committee and with a further direction to the Committee to finalise the proceedings at the earliest, at any rate, within three months from the date of

such meeting. The 3^rd respondent and the Committee shall bear in mind the fact that the application is pending for the past ten years and treat the issue as emergent.
